Why vote for Rob Lennard, Alberta’s History Wrangler

Reasons to vote for Rob Lennard, Alberta's History Wrangler

1) Enthusiasm and passion for education– I have taught thousands of students Alberta history down at the Historic Bow Valley Ranche and all across our great province and I am as passionate and enthusiastic about teaching Alberta history as I am about public education and the fabulous CBE!
2) Relationship building– As an Alberta History Specialist for over 20 years, I have had the opportunity to build great relationships with countless students, teachers, principles and parents.
3) Connection with new CBE students/parents from around the world– I speak French and some Spanish and I have travelled to 38 different countries. This helps me connect with parents and students from around the world. Additionally, these wonderful CBE students enrich the learning experience for everyone! FYI, my 15 year old son Max is both a Canadian and Mexican citizen.
4) An excellent listener– I am a very good listener and value peoples thoughts and ideas. Also, I always give credit to those who give me those ideas!
5) Team player– I have always been a great team player whether on a sports team, board of directors or creating a one-of-a-kind event, such as the terrific Alberta Day Celebrations held down at the Bow Valley Ranche for many years celebrating Alberta’s birthday. FYI, former Premier Jason Kenny attended one of our Alberta Day events before he declared Alberta’s birthday, Alberta Day. Needless to say, I am thrilled that he used the name I thought of to celebrate Alberta’s birthday!

BONUS reasons to vote for Rob Lennard, The History Wrangler

1) Assist in raising much needed funds for CBE schools in Wards 12 & 14– If elected, I promise to donate 10% of my CBE pay to school councils in Wards 12 & 14 as well seek School Council permission to offer to help raise thousands of dollars more each year!

2) The Calgary & Central Alberta Regional Heritage Fair Program– If elected I will reach out to school councils and seek permission to share information on Canada’s History Heritage Fair program. It’s an amazing program that I oversee in Calgary and schools from Ward 12 & 14 have never participated to my knowledge. Over 2 million grades 4-9 students from across Canada have participated and it’s a fantastic program!
