Experience

  • Developed/taught 13 Alberta History Programs for grades 2, 4, 5 and 7 and taught them at the historic Bow Valley Ranche in Fish Creek Provincial Park and across Alberta.
  • Developed “Alberta History Show” video production for students across Alberta.
  • Developed/taught the Girl Guides Alberta Heritage Badge Program to almost 2,000 Girl Guides.
  • Developed/taught program for Scouts Canada.
  • Developed 21 episode Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Grade 4 Quiz Show-filmed in 7 locations across Alberta.
  • Developed two province wide Lieutenant Governor of Alberta educational poetry contests.
  • Developed/Taught Alberta History certificate program to new Albertans at Bow Valley College.
  • Developed/taught program for the Calgary Immigrant Educational Society.
  • Developed/taught Alberta history program for the University of Calgary, for their international student program.
  • Developed/taught Alberta history program for home school students.
  • Developed/taught program created for Historical Calgary Week.
  • Developed/taught program for many societies/organizations presentations including; the Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area, Bragg Creek Historical Society and RCMP Veterans.

Educating with Alberta history themed songs- They Include:

  • 100th Anniversary of The Historical Society of Alberta Song.
  • 150th Anniversary of City of St. Albert Song.
  • 50th Anniversary of Bow Valley College Song- Performed at 50th anniversary event at Olympic Plaza.
  • Bilingual song about the history of the French Village of Rouleauville.
  • History of Alberta’s Oil Song- Performed for the 100th anniversary of the Turner Valley Discovery on May 14th, 2014, in Turner Valley.
  • Song about the historic Bar U entitled “YaHoo for the Bar U”
  • CFL Rules Song and Music Video-released on the jumbo screen at McMahon Stadium.
